Install

1. Download the extension zip from your purchase email (or the Free tier link).
2. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode.
3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
4. Click the ApplyAgent icon to open the side panel.

Get a Gemini API key (free, optional)

1. Visit aistudio.google.com.
2. Click Get API key. Sign in with any Google account.
3. Create a new key. Copy it.
4. Paste into ApplyAgent → Settings → "Gemini API key" and set a passphrase to encrypt it locally.

Google's free tier is generous - most users never pay for tokens.

Generate your first application

1. Upload your resume PDF in the side panel (one-time) or build a starter on /build-resume.
2. Open any job posting on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed, or Glassdoor.
3. Click Generate application in the side panel.
4. Review the generated resume + cover letter, then click Fill form on page.
5. Review the filled form and submit manually.

Pro license

If you bought the $29 lifetime, paste the license key (starts with aa_live_) into Settings. Up to 3 devices per license; deauthorize from /dashboard.

Pro+ Monthly (uses our Gemini key)

No setup needed beyond pasting the license key. We absorb the LLM cost up to 500 generations/month.

Privacy

• Resumes stay on your device by default.
• BYO key traffic goes directly from your browser to Google - our server never sees it.
• Pro+ traffic uses our Gemini key but we never log key, request, or response content.
